Jaguars place Anton Harrison on injured reserve
Jacksonville puts its starting tackle on IR and promotes safety Kaevon Merriweather to the active roster.

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed offensive tackle Anton Harrison on injured reserve Tuesday and signed safety Kaevon Merriweather from the practice squad to the active roster. The team also added long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer to its practice squad.
Harrison, a first-round pick in 2023, is in his fourth season as a Jacksonville starter. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that he was expected to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery. His recovery timetable depends on the findings during the procedure.
Merriweather, 26, was elevated for Jacksonville’s Week 5 game and recorded a tackle. He played 12 games for Tampa Bay and one for Houston in 2025, finishing that season with 11 tackles and a forced safety.
He entered the NFL with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and has appeared in 43 career games, including seven starts. Bobenmoyer, 29, has played 97 games with Denver and Las Vegas and recorded 22 special-teams tackles since entering the league in 2020.
