Cowboys rule out four defenders for Ravens game in Brazil

The Dallas Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil without four defenders after ruling out DeMarvion Overshown, Cobie Durant, P.J. Locke and Malik Hooker on Thursday.

Linebacker Overshown and cornerback Durant have hamstring injuries, while safety Locke is dealing with a foot injury. Hooker, also a safety, is recovering from a fractured forearm.

Durant and Locke were injured against Washington on September 20, adding to the absences of Overshown and Hooker. With three defensive backs unavailable, Dallas must adjust both its cornerback and safety rotations.

The Cowboys said all four would remain behind when the team traveled to Rio de Janeiro. Dallas and Baltimore meet Sunday, September 27, at Maracanã Stadium.

Hooker’s absence could extend beyond the Brazil trip, with the team identifying Week 4 as his earliest possible return and leaving his availability for that game unresolved.
