Tim Tszyu will challenge Erislandy Lara for the WBA middleweight title in Australia, promoter No Limit Boxing confirmed Tuesday.

The fight is expected to take place in late November, but its date, city and venue have not been announced. Fox Sports Australia reported that the Gold Coast is a possible host, with Sydney, Brisbane and Perth also interested.

Tszyu, a former super welterweight world champion, will be attempting to win a world title in a second division. He enters the bout with a 28–3 record and 18 knockouts, following three consecutive victories.

His most recent win was a unanimous decision over Errol Spence Jr. in Sydney in July. Tszyu called for a fight with Lara after that performance.

Lara has a record of 32 wins, three losses and three draws, with 19 knockouts. The Cuban southpaw has held titles at super welterweight and middleweight and has never been stopped.

No undercard bouts have been confirmed. Ticketing and broadcast arrangements are also still to be announced, according to the promoter’s details reported by Fox Sports.
