Talbott stops Figueiredo in first round at UFC 332
Payton Talbott earns a TKO at 2:09 of the opening round in Salt Lake City and calls for a bout with Sean O’Malley.

Payton Talbott stopped Deiveson Figueiredo at 2:09 of the first round in the UFC 332 co-main event at Delta Center in Salt Lake City on October 3.
UFC’s official results listed the finish as a TKO by strikes. Talbott knocked Figueiredo down with a right hand early, then pressed for the stoppage after landing an elbow along the fence.
Talbott continued connecting as Figueiredo covered up, prompting referee Jason Herzog to intervene. The quick finish came in Talbott’s return after approximately 10 months away from competition, according to the promotion’s report.
UFC’s follow-up coverage placed the victory after Talbott’s wins over Felipe Lima and Henry Cejudo. That run followed his decision loss to Raoni Barcelos in January 2025.
Talbott called for a fight with Sean O’Malley afterward. The callout expressed his preferred next opponent; the reports did not announce that matchup as booked.
Natalia Silva closed the card by beating Wang Cong on the judges’ scorecards to claim the vacant women’s flyweight title.
