Ryan Coleman-Williams doubtful for Alabama’s Tennessee game
Alabama is preparing to be without its leading receiver because of knee problems and a concussion.

Alabama is preparing to play without leading receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams at Tennessee on Saturday, coach Kalen DeBoer said Monday. Coleman-Williams is doubtful because of multiple injuries, including a knee problem and concussion.
The junior left Alabama’s 20–17 loss to Georgia twice. He was already wearing a brace on his right knee when he limped off before halftime after landing awkwardly on a deep pass from quarterback Keelon Russell.
Coleman-Williams returned for the second half but left again early in the fourth quarter after a hit from Georgia safety KJ Bolden. DeBoer said there was a good chance he would miss the Tennessee game and that his status could be assessed week to week afterward.
Coleman-Williams leads Alabama with 23 receptions, 415 receiving yards and four touchdown catches. The Crimson Tide are expected to use Lotzeir Brooks and Rico Scott more heavily against Tennessee, with Derek Meadows, Cederian Morgan and Noah Rodgers also potential receiving options, The Associated Press reported.
