Oso Ighodaro Reportedly Agrees to Three-Year, $29 Million Suns Extension
The reported deal follows Ighodaro’s full 82-game season.

Oso Ighodaro has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $29 million contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Phoenix’s 2027–28 option precedes the extension, which runs from 2028 through 2031.
Ighodaro played every regular-season game for the Suns in 2025–26, starting 24 of his 82 appearances. He averaged 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 22 minutes per game, up from 4.2 points and 17.1 minutes as a rookie.
The center joined Phoenix in a draft-night trade after Portland selected him 40th overall in 2024. His first NBA season included 61 appearances, six starts and a brief assignment with the Valley Suns in the G League. He has 30 career NBA starts.
Before entering the NBA, Ighodaro played four seasons at Marquette and earned second-team All-Big East recognition twice. The reported extension follows his increased playing time and availability during his second professional season with Phoenix.
