MLB moves Thursday playoff games earlier; NLCS Game 4 set for 6 p.m. MT
Rain in Cleveland prompted the ALCS shift to the afternoon and moved Brewers–Dodgers an hour earlier in Los Angeles.

Major League Baseball moved both Thursday championship series games to earlier start times because of rain forecast in Cleveland, with Game 4 between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers now scheduled for 6 p.m. MT.
The National League Championship Series game at Dodger Stadium was originally set for 7 p.m. MT, as SB Nation reported. The change followed the decision to move Tampa Bay’s American League Championship Series game at Cleveland forward five hours, from 4 p.m. to 11 a.m. MT.
The Rays and Guardians began their three-game stretch at Progressive Field with their best-of-seven series tied 1–1. Tampa Bay had won 3–1 on Tuesday after Cleveland took the opener. Thursday’s ALCS game was already underway by early afternoon Mountain Time.
Milwaukee entered Thursday with a 3–0 series lead after beating Los Angeles 6–2 on Wednesday. Tyler Glasnow was scheduled to start Game 4 for the Dodgers, who must win to extend the series.
The U.S. NLCS telecast is on FS1, with streaming through FOX One and Spanish coverage on FOX Deportes. The ALCS is carried by TBS and HBO Max. The earlier Los Angeles game remains on Thursday despite the change in its television window.
