Friday Fantasy Pulse: Mariota starts, Hall out, Wright returns
Updates our earlier entry.
What changed
Washington ruled out Jayden Daniels against Indianapolis, confirming Marcus Mariota’s Sunday start in London. Terry McLaurin is questionable with a hamstring injury, and Rachaad White is out with a shoulder injury.
The Jets ruled out Breece Hall with a quad injury. Braelon Allen has taken the majority of the backfield’s practice reps, according to the team’s Friday reporting. Left guard Dylan Parham is also out.
Miami coach Jeff Hafley said Jaylen Wright will play against Minnesota. Miami’s current official depth chart lists Wright first and Ollie Gordon II second while De’Von Achane is out for the season; their Sunday workload split has not been announced.
Fantasy impact
Mariota is a strong superflex or two-quarterback option now that the job is confirmed. In one-quarterback leagues, compare him with your existing starter. Check McLaurin’s availability before the London kickoff at 7:30 a.m. Mountain Sunday. Read the updated Mariota guide.
Allen is the first Jets back to add and a usable RB2 or flex in a typical 12-team half-PPR or full-PPR league. Isaiah Davis remains a deeper-league stash; a complete receiving and goal-line split has not been confirmed. Read the Allen guide.
Wright’s return makes Gordon’s share less certain. Hold both on the bench when you have a healthy back with a clearer workload. Either is a speculative flex if injuries leave you short, rather than a guaranteed replacement for Achane’s production. Read the Miami backfield guide.
This entry updates the September 30 injury guidance for these three backfields. It is a targeted Friday update, not a complete list of every Week 4 injury. Recheck game-day availability before locking lineups.
