Highlights from this published edition.

Team updates

Buffalo BillsTy Johnson returns; three game-time decisions

Questionable: Ty Johnson (hamstring), Jordan Hancock (quad) and T.J. Sanders (knee). Johnson returned to limited work Friday after more than a month out. Hancock finished with a full practice; Sanders was limited. Joe Brady said all three decisions can go to game time.

Smaller detail: Brady described Sanders’s new knee issue as a tweak, without indicating a long-term concern. That is reassurance from the coach, not a clearance for Sunday.

Fantasy impact: Keep Johnson out of a speculative flex spot until availability is settled. His return matters to the passing-down and return rotation; it does not establish a new workload for James Cook or Ray Davis. Hancock and Sanders belong on the Bills D/ST watch list.

Miami DolphinsChris Bell starts; backup RB work stays situational

Cleared: Will Kacmarek (calf), Ronnie Harrison Jr. (hamstring), Seydou Traore (thumb/Achilles) and Dante Trader Jr. (hamstring) finished Friday as full participants without a game designation.

Role update: Jeff Hafley confirmed rookie Chris Bell will start. Bell told the Miami Herald his game conditioning was about 85 percent. Hafley also said the Jaylen Wright/Ollie Gordon II decision depends on the play and situation, and that both will be needed.

Quarterback depth: Hafley expressed confidence that No. 2 Kyle McCord can run the offense if called upon.

Fantasy impact: Bell is a deep-league receiver to watch, with a starting assignment that still leaves his snap total unknown. Do not treat Wright as an automatic every-down replacement for De’Von Achane: the coach is describing a shared backup job.

New England PatriotsBrown’s reported IR move; Stevenson and receiver usage

Reported: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Friday that A.J. Brown is going on injured reserve after his high ankle sprain. That would mean missing at least the next four games, with Week 6 the earliest eligible return. A recovery date has not been guaranteed.

Week 1 usage: With TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) inactive, Rhamondre Stevenson played 60 of 71 offensive snaps. He had 18 carries for 51 yards and five catches for 44 yards. Corey Kiner added six carries; Lan Larison caught two passes.

Receiving watch: DeMario Douglas drew seven targets, Mack Hollins five and Romeo Doubs three. Hollins caught four passes for 51 yards; Doubs finished without a catch. Rookie Eli Raridon scored on his only target and played 38 snaps, while Hunter Henry caught all three targets. These are the opening-game results, not a settled post-Brown target order.

Reported roster move: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that defensive tackle DaQuan Jones is expected to sign a one-year deal. The team transaction log also records Wednesday elevations for Larison and punter Mitch Wishnowsky.

Fantasy impact: Hold Brown and use an IR slot when your platform allows. Assess Douglas, Hollins and Doubs for modest waiver bids; Kyle Williams and Efton Chism III remain deeper role watches. Stevenson’s heavy workload is conditional on Henderson’s absence continuing. Raridon’s touchdown alone does not make him a reliable starter. New England has already played, so these are Week 2 decisions.

New York JetsJason Sanders gets the kicking job; Hall cleared

Kicker decision: Aaron Glenn named Jason Sanders the Week 1 kicker. A practice-squad elevation was planned; the coach said the competition with Blake Grupe can continue after this game.

Out: Tim Patrick (groin) and Joseph Ossai (foot). Doubtful: Kene Nwangwu (back) and D’Angelo Ponds (calf). Nwangwu’s back tightened Thursday and he missed Friday’s practice.

Cleared: Breece Hall (groin), Isaiah Davis (knee) and Kenyon Sadiq (groin) practiced fully all week and have no game designation.

Fantasy impact: Sanders is the Jets kicker to consider for this week; do not start Grupe expecting the job. Hall stays in normal lineup consideration. Patrick’s absence thins receiver depth, while Nwangwu’s situation matters more to the return game than to a standard-league rushing projection.

Baltimore RavensWalker questionable; Madubuike and Buchanan out

Out: Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Teddye Buchanan (knee). Questionable: Devontez Walker (groin), after limited work throughout the week.

Receiving clearance: Zay Flowers finished with full practices Thursday and Friday. The team’s Friday report says he is ready for the opener.

Defensive depth: Broderick Washington is listed behind Madubuike. Baltimore described Madubuike as close to returning, but has not supplied a firm return date. Trenton Simpson is a co-starter at inside linebacker; a Carl Jones Jr. elevation was possible. Rookie Ja’Kobi Lane has moved into the top receiver trio, with Elijah Sarratt a possible beneficiary if Walker sits.

Fantasy impact: Walker needs an inactive check in deep leagues. Flowers’s availability supports the original start recommendation. Replace Madubuike and Buchanan in IDP lineups; their absences also matter when assessing Baltimore’s run defense against Jonathan Taylor.

Cincinnati BengalsChase and Higgins cleared; Stewart trends the other way

Cleared: Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins have no game designation. Chase’s Friday absence was listed as rest/knee; Higgins was full all three days with a foot listing. DJ Turner II (hamstring) also has no game designation despite limited Thursday and Friday work.

Doubtful: Shemar Stewart (knee) went from full Wednesday to limited Thursday and no practice Friday.

Practice context: Jonathan Allen, B.J. Hill and Dexter Lawrence II have no game designation. Do not convert their late-week participation or rest entries into an injury absence.

Fantasy impact: Keep Chase and Higgins in normal starting plans. Stewart is an IDP availability concern and a potential reduction in edge depth. A practice absence and a game ruling are different things. Rookie Cashius Howell is a backup edge to watch: the team preview expects him to contribute, while Zac Taylor has not disclosed his snap allocation.

Cleveland BrownsAustin Barber starts; Concepcion gets return work

Offensive line: Teven Jenkins (back) is out. Todd Monken confirmed rookie Austin Barber will start at right guard. Backup center Parker Brailsford (thumb) is questionable.

Cleared: Maliek Collins (quad) and Carson Schwesinger (shoulder) have no game designation; Schwesinger practiced fully all week.

Role detail: Monken said KC Concepcion will handle punt returns as well as offense. He praised Deshaun Watson’s comfort after getting the first-team work. A potential game-day role for rookie quarterback Taylen Green was still undecided.

Fantasy impact: Concepcion has an extra avenue to score in leagues that credit individual return yards. That does not guarantee extra receiving targets. The rookie right-guard start is a protection and rushing-efficiency watch for Watson and Quinshon Judkins. Do not assign Green a package or snap share before it is confirmed.

Sources: Browns game-status announcement, Sept. 11 · Browns final practice table · Todd Monken transcript, Sept. 11

Pittsburgh SteelersPorter questionable; offensive injury report is clean

Questionable: Joey Porter Jr. (back), the only player on Pittsburgh’s final report, was limited all week. The Steelers enter the opener without an offensive game designation.

Defensive context: DeShon Elliott was already on reserve/injured and must miss at least the first four games. The team identified Jaquan Brisker among the players taking on responsibility in his absence.

Role watch: The Sept. 8 depth chart lists Jaylen Warren ahead of Rico Dowdle, and Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington as co-starters. The right-tackle listing alone did not settle the Dylan Cook/Max Iheanachor starting decision.

Fantasy impact: Do not mistake an unofficial depth chart for a touch split. Porter’s final status matters to coverage against Drake London, while the opposing quarterback change to Cooper Rush supports considering Pittsburgh’s D/ST.

Houston TexansMcDonald goes on IR; Montgomery and Marks share the plan

Confirmed transaction: Houston placed defensive tackle Kayden McDonald on reserve/injured Friday and signed Jaden Crumedy. McDonald is unavailable for at least four games.

Cleared: Trent Brown (wrist) and Wade Woodaz (thumb) were full participants all week without a game designation.

Backfield context: Houston’s Friday team analysis emphasizes sustaining the run game with both David Montgomery and Woody Marks. It does not provide a promised carry count or a new single-back arrangement.

Fantasy impact: McDonald must come out of IDP lineups. Treat Montgomery and Marks as a backfield with unresolved opportunity distribution until the opener provides evidence. The defensive-line transaction is relevant to Houston’s depth against Buffalo, without making the entire D/ST unusable.

Indianapolis ColtsPierce cleared; Ajiake added as questionable

Receiving clearance: Alec Pierce (heel) remained limited Friday but has no game designation. Full practice participation is not required for a player to be cleared.

Other clearances: A.J. Haulcy (ankle), Andrew Ogletree (neck), Anthony Richardson (illness) and Sedrick Van Pran-Granger (illness) finished Friday full. Grover Stewart, DeForest Buckner and Charvarius Ward have no game designation after rest listings.

New Friday concern: Austin Ajiake (hamstring) was added as a nonparticipant and is questionable.

Fantasy impact: Pierce remains available to use, with his actual workload still worth watching after limited preparation. Ajiake is a depth and special-teams availability note, not a reason by itself to downgrade the Colts’ offensive starters.

Sources: Colts final Week 1 practice and game-status table

Jacksonville JaguarsAllen questionable; the right-tackle decision is separate

Questionable: LeQuint Allen Jr. (hip), after limited work Thursday and Friday. Jakobi Meyers (thumb) has no game designation.

Line nuance: Cole Van Lanen (knee) also has no game designation, but Liam Coen said the decision on his starting role can go to game time. Walker Little is the expected alternative at right tackle. Anton Harrison missed Friday with a foot injury but has no game designation.

Backfield context: The Sept. 8 depth chart lists Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. as co-starters; it also lists rookie Emmanuel Pregnon as the starting left guard.

Fantasy impact: Allen is not a safe emergency replacement until active. His uncertainty does not settle the Tuten/Rodriguez split. Meyers can be used normally; monitor the offensive line rather than incorrectly labelling Van Lanen officially questionable.

Tennessee TitansCedric Gray out; two late roster additions

Out: Cedric Gray (concussion). Keldric Faulk (shoulder) was full all week and has no game designation. ESPN reports Anthony Hill Jr. or James Williams Sr. could replace Gray; a final starter was not established in that report.

Roster moves: Tennessee signed cornerback Jaylon Jones and waived Melvin Smith Jr. on Sept. 10. On Sept. 11, the Titans were awarded guard Atonio Mafi off waivers and waived Garrett Dellinger. Mafi’s addition was subject to passing a physical.

Fantasy impact: Replace Gray in IDP. Hill and Williams are role watches, with no guaranteed full-game tackle opportunity yet. The Jones and Mafi moves add depth; neither announcement changes a skill player’s projected workload on its own.

Sources: Titans final injury report, Sept. 11 · ESPN: Gray and replacement options, Sept. 11 · Titans Mafi announcement, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log

Denver BroncosMims full; Dobbins’s touch count remains unannounced

Monday watch: Marvin Mims Jr. (foot) was a full participant Thursday and an estimated full participant Friday. Denver did not practice Friday. He was the only player on its report; Saturday’s game-status report was still pending at this check.

Backfield: J.K. Dobbins is in line to start, with RJ Harvey and rookie Jonah Coleman available behind him. Sean Payton had not disclosed the snap distribution. The Denver Gazette reported Coleman was expected to be active, while Tyler Badie’s status remained uncertain.

Fantasy impact: Dobbins’s return is useful news, but neither a guaranteed workhorse load nor Coleman’s game-day activation should be treated as final. Anyone using Mims as a late replacement should recheck Saturday’s report and Monday’s inactives.

Sources: Broncos Friday report, Sept. 11 · Denver Gazette: rookie and RB roles, Sept. 11

Kansas City ChiefsChris Jones added; Simmons and Conner miss practice

New Friday listing: Chris Jones (calf) was limited. Josh Simmons (back) and Chamarri Conner (knee) missed both Thursday and Friday practices.

Full participants: Patrick Mahomes (knee), Rashee Rice (knee), Xavier Worthy (shoulder), Trey Smith (hip), L’Jarius Sneed (knee), Jack Cochrane (knee), Ashton Gillotte (foot) and R Mason Thomas (hamstring) were full Thursday and Friday.

Pending: Kansas City’s final Monday-game designations were not available at this check.

Fantasy impact: Mahomes, Rice and Worthy are progressing positively, with a final report still to come. Simmons is a meaningful pass-protection watch against Denver. Jones and Conner matter to the Chiefs D/ST and IDP planning. Keep a Monday replacement if your lineup depends on an unresolved player.

Las Vegas RaidersBowers out; Jeanty cleared; Mendoza named No. 2

Out: Brock Bowers (knee). Michael Mayer and Ian Thomas are the available tight-end alternatives. Ashton Jeanty (ankle) was full all week with no game designation.

Depth decisions: Klint Kubiak confirmed Fernando Mendoza as the backup to Kirk Cousins, ahead of Aidan O’Connell. Jackson Powers-Johnson will start at right guard ahead of Caleb Rogers; the coach has said both guards will play.

Confirmed transaction: Las Vegas claimed guard Bryce Cabeldue from Seattle and waived Atonio Mafi on Sept. 10.

Fantasy impact: Mayer is a tight-end streaming candidate while Bowers is out. A reported short recovery estimate for Bowers is not a promised return date. Start Jeanty in normal circumstances; Mike Washington Jr. is a depth watch, with no confirmed share of carries. Mendoza’s promotion is primarily relevant in deep superflex and dynasty leagues.

Sources: Raiders final injury report, Sept. 11 · Kubiak depth-chart reporting, Sept. 11 · Raiders guard transaction, Sept. 10

Los Angeles ChargersMitchell cleared; Tuipulotu questionable; new line confirmed

Out: Deane Leonard (abdomen). Questionable: Tuli Tuipulotu (hip). Keaton Mitchell (hamstring), Brenen Thompson (hip), RJ Mickens (ankle) and Khalil Mack (rest) have no game designation.

Offensive line: Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt are healthy. The opening interior is Kayode Awosika, rookie center Jake Slaughter and Cole Strange.

Role watches: The tight-end group includes Oronde Gadsden, Charlie Kolar and David Njoku. With Denzel Perryman already on IR, Del’Shawn Phillips is the unofficial starter next to Daiyan Henley, with Troy Dye and Marlowe Wax also possible contributors.

Fantasy impact: Mitchell’s clearance puts him back into the available backfield mix without establishing a workload. Do not assume all three tight ends have startable receiving volume. For IDP, check the linebacker rotation and Tuipulotu’s availability before assigning a full workload.

Dallas CowboysMalik Davis’s injury now ends his season

Material update: Dallas’s updated team report says Malik Davis suffered a hip injury Friday, had surgery that evening and will go on season-ending injured reserve. This is a longer absence than the initial Week 1 ruling covered in our Friday entry.

Next backs: Emari Demercado moves into the immediate backup conversation behind Javonte Williams. Israel Abanikanda is on the practice squad; an elevation or promotion is a possibility, not a completed move in that report.

Line change: Tyler Smith went on IR after thumb surgery. T.J. Bass is replacing him. Dallas promoted Nick Leverett and added Laken Tomlinson to the practice squad on Sept. 9.

Contracts and depth: Ryan Flournoy agreed to an extension through 2027, and Brevyn Spann-Ford received a three-year extension. These deals reinforce roster security, not guaranteed targets. Jonathan Bullard and Ajani Cornelius finished the week full without a game designation; Luke Schoonmaker also has no game designation.

Fantasy impact: Davis is no longer a one-week bench hold in ordinary redraft. Demercado becomes the direct backup to examine, while Williams remains the first back to start. Account for the missing starting guard instead of assuming the backfield injury automatically makes the offense more efficient.

New York GiantsNabers still questionable despite three full practices

Questionable: Malik Nabers (knee), the only Giant with a game designation. He was full all three days, but that has not become an unconditional clearance for Sunday night.

Cleared: Theo Johnson (shoulder), Andrew Thomas (knee), Shelby Harris (Achilles) and Bryan Hudson (knee) were full all week. Patrick Ricard (toe) was full Friday with no game designation.

Fantasy impact: Nabers managers need a playable Sunday-night or Monday alternative before earlier games lock. A healthy earlier receiver can be the better decision if no late backup is available. The Johnson and Thomas clearances are useful for the passing game; they do not remove Nabers’s separate uncertainty.

Philadelphia EaglesStowers questionable; Greenard out; Gipson added

Out: Jonathan Greenard (pectoral). Questionable: Eli Stowers (hamstring). Both were limited throughout the week.

Rookie roles: Stowers told the Philadelphia Inquirer the plan was to play, but his official questionable designation remains. Makai Lemon has returned from his preseason hamstring issue and is listed first at punt returner; the Inquirer notes that a Britain Covey elevation could still affect that role. Their offensive workloads remain unsettled.

Friday transaction: Philadelphia signed Xavier Gipson to the practice squad and placed Danny Gray on practice-squad injured reserve.

Fantasy impact: Stowers is a deep-league wait rather than a safe tight-end stream. Lemon is worth watching for both receiving and return work, without turning an unofficial listing into guaranteed usage. Greenard must come out of IDP lineups and is a loss to the Eagles’ pass rush.

Sources: Eagles final injury report · Philadelphia Inquirer: rookie availability and roles, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log

Washington CommandersCroskey-Merritt, Oweh and Chaisson cleared

No game designations: Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin), Odafe Oweh (calf), K’Lavon Chaisson (knee) and Daron Payne (knee) are available despite limited practice work.

Also available: Nick Allegretti (calf), Javon Kinlaw (back), Jordan Magee (chest), Marcus Mariota (knee), Charles Omenihu (wrist) and Ben Sinnott (oblique) finished Friday full.

Backfield context: The Sept. 8 depth chart lists Croskey-Merritt first, followed by Rachaad White and Kaytron Allen.

Fantasy impact: Croskey-Merritt’s clearance removes an injury obstacle but does not settle the split with White. Both leading edge rushers being available is a positive for Washington’s defensive personnel, with the matchup against Philadelphia still a separate D/ST decision.

Chicago BearsOdunze plans to play; official status still questionable

Questionable: Rome Odunze (calf), Tyson Bagent (back), Ozzy Trapilo (knee) and Xavier Woods (groin). Odunze and Trapilo were limited all week; Bagent did not practice. Woods was limited Thursday and Friday.

Player comments: Odunze said Friday that he planned to play. That optimism does not replace the official game designation. Case Keenum is the backup alternative if Bagent cannot go.

Rest and depth: Joe Thuney and Grady Jarrett returned to full work Friday after rest days. Chicago signed defensive backs Anthony Johnson and Keidron Smith to the practice squad Sept. 9.

Fantasy impact: Keep an inactive check attached to Odunze’s start decision. If he is out or limited, Luther Burden III and the tight ends become opportunity watches, not automatic recipients of every missing target. Woods is an IDP availability decision.

Sources: Bears final injury news, Sept. 11 · Shaw Local: Odunze comments and QB depth, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log

Detroit LionsKennedy joins the roster; Izien the lone question mark

Questionable: Christian Izien (groin). Derrick Moore (hamstring) and Mekhi Wingo (groin) improved to full Friday. Keith Abney II (hand), Thomas Harper (ankle), Trevor Nowaske (knee), Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (ankle) and Jimmy Rolder (hamstring) were full with no game designation.

Roster moves: Detroit promoted Tom Kennedy and added Natrone Brooks to the practice squad Sept. 10. Dave Fipp confirmed Kennedy will return punts. The Sept. 11 log records releases of Levi Onwuzurike and practice-squad lineman Tyre West.

Existing absences still matter: Isiah Pacheco was placed on IR Sept. 1. Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph began the season on reserve/PUP. Those earlier moves are context, not fresh Friday injuries.

Fantasy impact: Kennedy is relevant to leagues that score return work, with the receiver role still a separate question. Pacheco is unavailable; do not infer a new Jahmyr Gibbs injury from defensive-only listings. Recheck Izien and account for the existing safety absences in D/ST decisions.

Sources: Lions final injury report, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log · Detroit Sports Nation: Kennedy and Fipp, Sept. 10

Green Bay PackersLloyd leads the available backs; two linemen questionable

Backfield context: Josh Jacobs remains ineligible on the commissioner’s exempt list. WBAY reports MarShawn Lloyd has taken first-team work and is atop the unofficial depth chart, with Chris Brooks and Kaleb Johnson also involved. Practice-squad back Pierre Strong was doing hamstring rehab Thursday.

Out: Warren Brinson (calf). Questionable: Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele (both knee), plus Ty’Ron Hopper (Achilles). Hopper returned to limited work Friday.

Cleared: Jordan Morgan (knee), Javon Hargrave (knee), Barryn Sorrell (foot) and Devonte Wyatt (ankle) have no game designation.

Transactions: The Sept. 11 log records Bo Melton’s release and practice-squad signing. On Sept. 9, Green Bay signed Damon Bankston and Kahlef Hailassie to the practice squad and released Murvin Kenion III.

Fantasy impact: Lloyd is the first back to assess for an emergency start, with committee risk and two offensive-line questions. Do not start Jacobs. Melton’s practice-squad status is not a confirmed game-day elevation or a new receiving workload.

Sources: WBAY: available Packers backs, Sept. 10 · Packers final injury report, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log

Minnesota VikingsNo game designations; Jones and Mason remain co-starters

Cleared roster: No player on Minnesota’s 53-man roster received a game designation. Jakobe Thomas (illness), Jacob Thomas (ankle) and Caleb Tiernan (ankle) were full Friday.

Week 1 roles: The Sept. 9 unofficial depth chart names Kyler Murray as the starting quarterback and Aaron Jones Sr. and Jordan Mason as co-starters at running back. Demond Claiborne is behind them. Jauan Jennings joins Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison in the first receiver rows.

Roster note: Minnesota signed Jihad Ward on Sept. 9. Harrison Smith’s Sept. 8 signing and Ben Yurosek’s placement on IR are earlier context for the active roster.

Fantasy impact: There is no new injury-based reason to move Minnesota’s main offensive options down. Jones and Mason’s listing still leaves the touch split open. A healthy roster does not make both backs guaranteed volume plays.

Sources: Vikings final injury report, Sept. 11 · Vikings Week 1 depth chart, Sept. 9 · Vikings transaction log

Atlanta FalconsRush starts; Strand backs him up; Branch cleared

Quarterback change: Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee) are out. Cooper Rush starts, with Jack Strand his backup. Penix’s full practice listing does not make him active.

Other rulings: Billy Bowman Jr. (Achilles) and Cameron Williams (ankle) are out. Za’Darius Smith (shoulder) is questionable despite a full Friday practice.

Cleared: Zachariah Branch (hamstring), Kendal Daniels (Achilles), Brandon Dorlus (groin), Da’Shawn Hand (knee), Kyle Hinton (knee) and Jawaan Taylor (knee) were full Friday without a game designation. Jake Matthews had a rest day.

Fantasy impact: Bijan Robinson remains a start. Treat Drake London as a receiver who can still be used with a lower passing ceiling, and Kyle Pitts as a more fragile tight-end decision. Rush is an emergency multi-quarterback option. Branch’s clearance is a small positive for depth, not a guarantee of meaningful volume.

Sources: Falcons final injury report, Sept. 11 · Falcons QB plan, Sept. 11

Carolina PanthersBrooks cleared without limitations; edge rotation opens

Cleared: Jonathon Brooks (groin) and Bobby Brown III (back) were full Friday. Dave Canales said Brooks has no limitations and will work with Chuba Hubbard; AJ Dillon remains the third back.

Out: Patrick Jones II (back). Canales would not commit to a fixed replacement opposite Jaelan Phillips, citing situational choices involving Princely Umanmielen and Trevis Gipson, with Thomas Incoom also needing to be ready.

Practice-squad move: Carolina signed Jeremiah Moon and released Cam Gill on Sept. 9.

Fantasy impact: Brooks is available to use, but “no limitations” does not mean a guaranteed touch total. Hubbard and Brooks need a first-game usage check before assuming a specific split. Umanmielen and Gipson are IDP role watches rather than confirmed full-snap replacements.

Sources: Panthers final injury report, Sept. 11 · Canales workload and edge comments, Sept. 11 · Team transaction log

New Orleans SaintsKamara questionable; Estimé, Delp and Jordan out

Questionable: Alvin Kamara (knee), even after a full Friday practice. Kellen Moore said Kamara would travel with the team; that is not the same as an active-game decision.

Out: Audric Estimé (thigh), Oscar Delp (hamstring) and Cameron Jordan (hamstring). Jordan returned to limited practice Friday but is still ruled out. Davon Godchaux returned from a rest day and has no game designation.

Existing roster watch: Jordyn Tyson remains on IR. His appearance around Friday’s team-photo activities does not establish a practice return or game clearance.

Fantasy impact: Kamara needs an inactive check and an early-game alternative. Estimé is not an available fallback. Travis Etienne is the back to reassess if Kamara sits; Delp’s absence narrows tight-end depth without guaranteeing extra targets for Juwan Johnson. Remove Jordan from IDP lineups.

Tampa Bay BuccaneersEgbuka full-go; three doubtful; Trotter wins a starting role

Doubtful: Jalen McMillan (knee), Sean Tucker (hamstring) and Justin Skule (oblique). Questionable: Christian Rozeboom (foot). Rueben Bain Jr. (shoulder), Emeka Egbuka (toe) and Billy Schrauth (knee) have no game designation.

Workload detail: Todd Bowles said Egbuka is full-go. Ted Hurst is a candidate for more work if McMillan is out. Bowles said a Josh Williams practice-squad elevation was possible if a third running back is needed, but it was not automatic.

IDP role: Josiah Trotter earned a first-team spot alongside Alex Anzalone. The team’s Sept. 9 notebook identifies Anzalone as the defensive signal-caller.

Fantasy impact: Use Egbuka normally. Make alternative plans for McMillan and Tucker. Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell are the active backfield options described in the Friday notebook, with no fixed split promised. Hurst is a deep-league watch; Trotter’s confirmed starting role is more useful than a speculative depth-chart promotion.

Arizona CardinalsLove questionable; three starters unavailable

Questionable: Jeremiyah Love (ankle), limited all week. Mike LaFleur said he was trending toward playing; the official decision remains unresolved.

Out: Isaiah Adams (knee), Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ribs) and Garrett Williams (Achilles). Jon Gaines II is the replacement identified for Adams at right guard.

Cleared: Josh Sweat (knee/rest), Will Johnson (ankle) and punter Blake Gillikin (right groin) have no game designation. Sweat finished Friday full.

Fantasy impact: Keep a later-playing alternative for Love, or choose a healthy earlier option. Tyler Allgeier is the back to reassess if Love is inactive, with workload still requiring confirmation. The guard and secondary absences matter to both Arizona’s offensive efficiency and the matchup for the Chargers.

Los Angeles RamsCorum gets carries; receiving usage and injuries need context

Backfield usage: Kyren Williams had 11 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown, plus three catches. Blake Corum had 10 carries for 54 yards. Rams Wire recorded 39 offensive snaps for Williams and 14 for Corum, so similar carry counts did not mean equal passing-down roles.

Pass catchers: Puka Nacua drew nine targets and Davante Adams six. Colby Parkinson played more snaps than Terrance Ferguson; Ferguson finished with one target and no catch. Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith rotated at WR3. The starters’ full-game percentages were also affected by the final drive with backups.

Injury watch: Davis Allen (head), Kam Curl (ankle) and Nate Landman (shoulder) left the game. Omar Speights briefly exited and returned. These are postgame concerns, not final Week 2 rulings. Myles Garrett played 62 percent of snaps and said he was not yet fully healthy.

Roster context: Aaron Donald was inactive for the opener. The Rams elevated safety Tanner Ingle from the practice squad Sept. 10.

Fantasy impact: Hold Williams as the preferred fantasy back; Corum’s rushing involvement is real. Nacua remains a start, while Adams’s formation-dependent playing time deserves attention. Ferguson is not a safe stream on this evidence. Recheck the defensive and tight-end injuries before making Week 2 decisions.

San Francisco 49ersBlack earns real work; Stribling and Tonges await clarity

Backfield: Kaelon Black had 14 carries for 65 yards and a catch. Christian McCaffrey had 10 carries for 68 yards and five catches on eight targets. The snap review recorded 36 snaps for McCaffrey and 28 for Black. Black was involved early, not only after the game was decided.

Receiving: Mike Evans caught six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Deebo Samuel Sr. also drew seven targets and scored; Demarcus Robinson scored on one of his two catches. George Kittle caught two of five targets for 12 yards and played 30 snaps, compared with Luke Farrell’s 46.

Injuries: De’Zhaun Stribling left with an ankle injury and Jake Tonges with a knee injury. Kyle Shanahan said Stribling’s Achilles was intact but further tests were needed; he described concern about Tonges’s knee without a final diagnosis or timeline. Do not turn that into a confirmed season-ending injury.

Defensive and roster notes: Alfred Collins went on IR after a torn patellar tendon; Shanahan said he will miss the season. KhaDarel Hodge and Ogbo Okoronkwo were activated for the opener. Fred Warner returned with 11 tackles and a forced fumble; Nick Bosa played 36 snaps.

Fantasy impact: Black is a meaningful bench/waiver target, especially for McCaffrey managers; McCaffrey remains a start. Stribling’s uncertainty strengthens the case to watch Robinson and Samuel’s next roles. Kittle’s limited usage deserves attention without a panic drop. Wait for actual follow-up findings on Stribling and Tonges.

Seattle SeahawksDarnold’s timetable unresolved; Price and Holani split snaps

Quarterback: Mike Macdonald said Thursday testing showed Sam Darnold’s hip was intact and described a muscular issue. He did not give a return date and said his initial expectation was Drew Lock could play at Arizona. ESPN reported Darnold is expected to miss Week 2, citing Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport. That remains an attributed expectation; the team expects more clarity when work resumes Monday.

Backfield usage: Jadarian Price played 24 snaps, George Holani 23 and Emanuel Wilson three. Price had 10 carries for 52 yards and Holani eight for 29. Zach Charbonnet was unavailable for the opener.

Receiving: Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught eight passes for 122 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. AJ Barner played 44 of 50 offensive snaps, but drew only two targets. Cooper Kupp played 39 snaps and Rashid Shaheed 33; Elijah Arroyo played 11.

Availability and depth: Nick Emmanwori, Ty Okada and Tory Horton missed the opener. Macdonald said Emmanwori and Horton had been close, without clearing them for Week 2. Seattle signed AJ Finley, released Bryce Cabeldue and elevated Velus Jones Jr. and Rodney Thomas II Sept. 9; the two elevations reverted Sept. 10.

Fantasy impact: Lock is a contingency for superflex managers while Darnold’s status develops. Smith-Njigba’s target dominance supports holding the starting plan. Price has an opportunity, with Holani’s near-equal playing time tempering workhorse expectations. Barner’s snaps are encouraging, but two targets keep him in the streaming-watch category. Thomas’s big defensive role depended on missing teammates.

Reporting checked September 12, 2026, at 6:50 a.m. MDT. This edition reviews September 9–12 reports, with earlier roster decisions clearly identified as context. Analysis assumes typical 12-team PPR leagues; superflex, return-yardage and individual defensive player (IDP) notes are labelled.

Start here: the decisions that cannot wait

  • Dallas: Malik Davis’s updated team report now describes a season-ending injury. Reassess Emari Demercado behind Javonte Williams.
  • New England: A.J. Brown’s reported IR move calls for a multiweek replacement plan. Keep Brown; assess the receivers competing for work.
  • Sunday availability: Brock Bowers, Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. are out. Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Alvin Kamara and Jeremiyah Love remain questionable.
  • Small news, real decisions: Jason Sanders is the Jets’ Week 1 kicker; Jonathon Brooks has been cleared without limitations; Green Bay’s available backfield is led by MarShawn Lloyd.
  • Monday: Denver and Kansas City still owe final game-status reports. Protect a late replacement if your lineup depends on an unresolved player.

How to read this: “Cleared” means no injury game designation, not a promised full workload. “Reported” identifies sourced reporting before team confirmation. “Watch” is our analysis of what to check next. Official inactives remain the final game-day availability check.

This entry updates the September 11 Week 1 report, including the longer Davis absence, and adds the full-team review. Earlier reporting remains available.
