The Atlanta Falcons ruled out defensive end Za’Darius Smith on Saturday for their Sunday night home game against the Baltimore Ravens. Official update.

Smith had been listed as questionable Friday with a concussion and neck injury. Atlanta’s Saturday update downgraded him to out. The Falcons also placed linebacker Yasir Abdullah, who had already been ruled out with a hamstring injury, on injured reserve.

Three other starters remain questionable on the final injury report: offensive tackle Jake Matthews with a groin injury, and linebacker Divine Deablo and defensive end Samson Ebukam with hamstring injuries.

Matthews left Monday’s victory over New Orleans and did not return. His practice participation increased during the week, from a non-participant designation on Wednesday’s estimated report to limited work Thursday and full participation Friday.

Deablo and Ebukam played against the Saints after entering that game with questionable designations. Atlanta’s current report does not resolve their availability for Sunday.

The Week 5 matchup is at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, concluding Atlanta’s run of three consecutive prime-time games.
