Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love will miss Sunday's game against the Rams with an ankle injury, coach Mike LaFleur announced Friday. Tyler Allgeier will start in his place. Team report.

Bam Knight is the backup, and Arizona expects to elevate Evan Hull from the practice squad as a third back. Love did not practice this week after carrying 12 times for 22 yards against Detroit.

LaFleur said the ankle has interfered with Love's ability to cut and separate on routes, limiting his involvement in the passing game. The coach said there has been no discussion of placing the rookie on injured reserve.

The Cardinals' Friday injury report also lists safety Budda Baker as questionable with a groin injury and linebacker Zaven Collins as questionable with a hip injury. Both missed the day's practice.

Safety Kitan Crawford is questionable with an ankle injury. Arizona has until Saturday to activate him if it plans to use him against Los Angeles. Love's absence is confirmed; the Cardinals have not announced when he will return.
