Barkley reportedly targeting Week 6 return
Philadelphia is hopeful about Saquon Barkley’s hamstring recovery, but his availability remains unconfirmed.

Saquon Barkley is targeting a Week 6 return from a hamstring injury, with the Philadelphia Eagles hopeful he can play against Carolina, RotoWire reported Tuesday. The report does not establish that Barkley has been cleared for the game.
Barkley suffered the injury during Week 4 and missed Philadelphia’s Week 5 game against Jacksonville in London. NBC Sports also reported that the Eagles were hopeful about getting him back for their next matchup.
Philadelphia’s backfield has other injury concerns. Tank Bigsby is on injured reserve following core muscle surgery, and Will Shipley suffered a partial plantar fascia tear in his foot. RotoWire identified Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele as options if Barkley or Shipley cannot play.
Barkley’s practice participation and final game designation remain the important availability checks for Fantasy managers. A return target does not guarantee a normal workload immediately after an absence. Current practice and injury developments are available through the Fantasy Pulse notebook before lineup decisions.
