Freddie Freeman hits 18th postseason homer, ties for 10th all-time
Freeman’s fourth-inning homer off Chris Sale helped the Dodgers win NLDS Game 3 in Atlanta and moved him alongside teammate Max Muncy on the career list.

Freddie Freeman hit his 18th career postseason home run Tuesday, moving into a tie for 10th on MLB’s all-time list as the Dodgers beat the Braves 3–1 in NLDS Game 3.
Freeman’s solo shot off Chris Sale in the fourth inning extended Los Angeles’ lead to 3–0 at Truist Park. Mauricio Dubón had robbed him of a potential homer in the third.
The home run was Freeman’s second of this postseason. He joined seven other players at 18, including Dodgers teammate Max Muncy, who reached the mark in Game 2, according to MLB.com.
Kiké Hernández hit a two-run homer earlier in the fourth. Freeman finished 1-for-4 with a walk as Los Angeles took a 2–1 series lead.
