Baltimore Ravens tight end Durham Smythe will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.

An MRI confirmed the tear after Smythe was injured in Sunday’s game against Tennessee, according to Rapoport’s report cited by the Ravens.

Smythe had one catch for four yards through Baltimore’s first four games, serving primarily as a blocker. He joined the Ravens this offseason after playing for Chicago in 2025.

Mark Andrews leads Baltimore’s tight ends, with rookies Matt Hibner and Josh Cuevas also on the roster. Veteran Nick Vannett is on the practice squad.
