The Milwaukee Bucks signed Johni Broome and waived John Butler Jr. on Tuesday, the team announced in its October 6 release.

Broome, 24, was the 35th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Philadelphia 76ers as a rookie. He also started 26 games for the Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 21.8 points and 8.3 rebounds in the G League.

Butler spent last season with the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s G League affiliate, and appeared in five games for the Bucks’ 2026 Summer League team, according to the release.

The Bucks did not disclose contract terms in the announcement. Milwaukee travels to Oklahoma City for its next preseason game Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
