“He Like To Make A Grand Entrance” ISO JOE on LEBRON Injury

“Nah, I don’t think it’s cause for concern. I think the man takes good care of himself,” Joe Johnson said on Nightcap when asked about LeBron James’s health.

Shannon Sharpe had raised a report that James was dealing with chronic arthritis and sciatica and asked if that was cause for concern. Johnson, known as “Iso Joe,” responded by pointing to the time remaining before the NBA season.

“I think he’s just being on the precautionary side right now, Unc and Ocho. Considering the fact that we’re a couple of weeks away from the NBA season,” Johnson said.

Johnson said he expected James to be ready for the Lakers’ season opener.

“He gonna be ready to go. He’s just taking some precautionary measures.”

Johnson was offering his assessment of James’s preparations. His comments on Nightcap were not a team medical update.

Sharpe noted that the NBA season was roughly two weeks away. Johnson added:

“Y’all know Bron, he like, he like to make a grand entrance. He could be plotting on the low.”
