Paris Johnson Jr. out for season with torn biceps
The Cardinals left tackle will have surgery after Sunday’s injury against the Giants. Rookie Jayden Williams is next in line to replace him.

Arizona Cardinals left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his left biceps against the New York Giants, the team announced Monday.
Johnson will undergo surgery and go on injured reserve. It is the third consecutive season in which an injury has ended his year early.
The Cardinals will turn to seventh-round rookie Jayden Williams at left tackle. Williams has played a small number of snaps in heavy personnel packages, while Josh Fryar provides another option after playing both tackle positions last season.
Johnson hurt his arm during Arizona’s final drive Sunday. The Cardinals also lost right guard Isaiah Adams to an ankle injury, but coach Mike LaFleur had not ruled Adams out of the upcoming game against Detroit.
