Seahawks put Jadarian Price on IR, sign Velus Jones Jr.
Seattle’s rookie running back will miss at least four games with a chest injury. Velus Jones Jr. joins the 53-man roster before the Chargers visit.

The Seattle Seahawks placed rookie running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve Saturday with a chest injury and signed Velus Jones Jr. from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, the team announced.
Price must miss at least four games. Seattle had already ruled him out for Sunday’s home matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers after he aggravated the injury in Wednesday’s practice. He initially suffered it in Week 2 against Arizona and played against Washington the following week.
Jones had been elevated for Seattle’s opener and again for the Washington game. Saturday’s signing makes him part of the regular roster.
The Seahawks also elevated cornerback Trevon Diggs and safety Maxen Hook for the Chargers game. Those are temporary game-day moves, a different transaction from Jones’ signing.
Seattle hosts Los Angeles at 2:25 p.m. MDT Sunday. The Week 4 watch guide lists the broadcast information and the rest of the schedule.
