Colts rule out Keenan Allen for London game against Commanders
Allen’s groin injury will keep him out Sunday. Indianapolis also elevated Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad for the London matchup.

The Indianapolis Colts ruled out Keenan Allen with a groin injury Saturday, removing the veteran receiver from Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Allen had been listed as questionable Friday. The Colts added the downgrade to their injury report Saturday, changing a week in which coach Shane Steichen initially had not ruled out any players.
Indianapolis also elevated Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad for the October 4 game. He played following a similar elevation against Houston in Week 3, according to the team’s roster announcement.
Allen has 13 receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown this season, Field Level Media reported. Ashton Dulin was listed as questionable with an ankle injury Friday.
Sunday update: The Colts’ official inactive list confirms Allen will miss the game. Ashton Dulin, who was listed as questionable, is not on the list. Indianapolis also declared D.J. Giddens, George Gumbs Jr., Darius Slayton and Dalton Tucker inactive, with Riley Leonard designated as the third quarterback.
Washington has ruled out Jayden Daniels with an elbow injury and will start Marcus Mariota. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET, 7:30 a.m. MDT.
