Yankees leave Aaron Judge off ALDS roster
Aaron Judge remains out with a calf injury as New York faces Tampa Bay. Giancarlo Stanton stays on the roster, while Ryan Weathers replaces Amed Rosario.

The Yankees left Aaron Judge off their American League Division Series roster Saturday because his strained right calf has not recovered enough for him to play against Tampa Bay.
Judge also missed New York’s Wild Card sweep of Boston. He can be added for the American League Championship Series if the Yankees advance, but Saturday’s roster announcement does not establish a return date.
New York made one change from its Wild Card roster, adding left-hander Ryan Weathers and leaving off Amed Rosario. Giancarlo Stanton remains available as a pinch hitter. Aaron Boone has said he does not consider Stanton available to start at designated hitter or play the outfield.
The Yankees and Rays open the best-of-five series Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. MDT. TSP’s ALDS preview has the full schedule and viewing guide.
