BMW Ladies Championship Field Includes 14 of World’s Top 25
Sei Young Kim defends in South Korea as the LPGA’s fall Asia swing continues.

The BMW Ladies Championship field includes 14 of the world’s top 25 players, the LPGA said in its field breakdown. Defending champion Sei Young Kim returns to Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam-gun for the October 22–25 tournament.
World No. 3 Haeran Ryu leads the ranked entrants after winning two majors this season, the Amundi Evian Championship and KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. No. 9 Kim and 2023 winner Minjee Lee are the two former champions in the field.
The 84-player tournament has no cut, runs over 72 holes and offers a $2.35 million purse. It is the second stop on the LPGA’s fall swing through Asia, according to the tour’s featured-groups announcement.
The field also includes six LPGA rookies and amateur sponsor invite Seoah Kim, who is making her first LPGA start. Erika Hara and Youmin Hwang, the leading rookie-of-the-year contenders, are paired together in the opening round with Gaby Lopez. Hara enters with a 144-point lead over Hwang in that race.
Hye-Jin Choi also enters after finishing second in Shanghai on Sunday, the LPGA reported. She joins Hyo Joo Kim and Celine Boutier in the opening round.
