Barcelona Expects Olmo to Miss Around a Month With Adductor Injury
The club confirmed a left-adductor injury after a collision against Paris Saint-Germain.

Dani Olmo is expected to miss around a month after suffering a left-adductor injury against Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona confirmed Wednesday. The club said tests established the injury following a collision with an opponent during Tuesday’s Champions League game.
The expected absence takes the midfielder out of Barcelona’s immediate plans before Sunday’s El Clásico against Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou. The club’s medical notice gives an approximate recovery period rather than a fixed return date and does not name a match for his comeback.
Sunday’s league meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. MDT on October 25. ESPN announced that ABC will televise the rivalry in the United States for the first time, with pregame coverage beginning at 1 p.m. MDT. ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes will also carry the match.
Barcelona enters the league meeting in first place, six points ahead of José Mourinho’s third-place Madrid, according to ESPN’s announcement. Olmo’s absence leaves the hosts preparing for that match without the midfielder.
