MetLife Stadium and its two NFL tenants, the Giants and Jets, announced a long-term extension with Corona and Modelo on October 20, adding a Beer Garden sponsorship to their commercial agreement.

The new title sponsorship covers the Beer Garden in the stadium’s Tailgate Zone between the MetLife and Verizon Gates. The partners plan entertainment and other activities there before Giants and Jets games. Corona and Modelo will retain their designation as the stadium’s Official Cervezas.

The agreement also provides for an annual series of team-themed events at participating bars across the Tri-State market. Those events will include appearances by former players, giveaways, merchandise and interactive games.

Inside the venue, the arrangement continues the Modelo Cantina on the west side of the 100 Level and branding at kiosks and walk-up bars on the 100 and 300 Levels. It also includes retail and packaging rights in New York and New Jersey, alongside stadium advertising during games and other events throughout the year.

The announcement did not disclose the agreement’s financial value or specify how many years the extension covers.
