Cason Wallace Reportedly Agrees to Five-Year, $139 Million Thunder Extension
Oklahoma City’s guard is the subject of a reported extension.

Cason Wallace and the Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly agreed to a five-year, $139 million contract extension, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The agreement follows Wallace’s third NBA season in 2025–26, in which he played 77 games and started 58. He averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He earned a place on the NBA’s All-Defensive second team in 2026.
Wallace has spent his entire professional career with Oklahoma City. Dallas selected him with the 10th pick in the 2023 draft before sending him and Dāvis Bertāns to the Thunder in the deal that brought Dereck Lively II to the Mavericks.
In his rookie season, Wallace appeared in all 82 regular-season games and earned All-Rookie second-team recognition. His role expanded during Oklahoma City’s 2024–25 championship season, when he started 43 games and averaged 8.4 points.
The 22-year-old played one season at Kentucky before entering the draft.
