Jeremy Lin Joins ESPN’s NBA Game and Studio Coverage
The former NBA guard joins ESPN’s season-long lineup after contributing during the 2026 Finals and Summer League.

Jeremy Lin has joined ESPN’s NBA commentator roster for the 2026–27 season, the network announced Thursday, adding the former guard to its game and studio coverage.
Lin had already contributed to ESPN’s coverage of the 2026 NBA Finals and Summer League. His expanded assignment includes NBA Today, according to the network’s announcement of its 25th consecutive season carrying NBA games.
ESPN listed Lin among its game analysts alongside Richard Jefferson and Tim Legler. Jason Kidd is also joining the network’s game and studio coverage, including NBA Countdown.
The lead ESPN and ABC game crew remains Mike Breen, Legler, Jefferson and Lisa Salters. ESPN said Lin will contribute within the broader lineup, which includes the returning Inside the NBA studio program produced by TNT Sports.
Lin retired from professional basketball in 2025 after an NBA career best remembered for his breakthrough with the New York Knicks in February 2012. The undrafted Harvard graduate played nine NBA seasons, averaging 11.6 points and 4.3 assists.
