Just Women’s Sports announced Tuesday that it acquired technology company Victra Sports and launched a mobile app alongside new basketball and soccer brands. The company said the app is available through Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

The app combines live scores, schedules, statistics and personalized accounts with Just Women’s Sports’ editorial and video coverage. Its technology comes from Victra Sports, founded by Haro Trenkler and Anna Malepeai.

The new brands, Just Women’s Hoops and Just Women’s Football, will each have programming and communities focused on their respective sports. Founder and chief executive Haley Rosen said the company was seeking to improve the digital experience for audiences following women’s teams and leagues.

The announcement did not disclose financial terms for the acquisition. Just Women’s Sports said the expansion followed new funding, league partnerships and growth in its programming slate. The purchase adds a technology product to a business previously identified primarily with editorial, social and video coverage of women’s sports.
