Playfly expands Clippers advertising deal
The company will handle both local and national ad sales for the Clippers’ 2026–27 season.

Playfly Sports will handle both local and national advertising sales for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, expanding its previous national-only relationship with the NBA franchise, Sports Business Journal reported Tuesday.
The agreement covers the Clippers’ 2026–27 portfolio as the team prepares a local direct-to-distributor television arrangement, a partial over-the-air package on KTLA-5 and the return of ClipperVision streaming. Main Street Sports Group handled local ad sales last season.
Playfly media executive Nick Cartan said the company would hire dedicated staff for the Clippers partnership. He compared the approach with its local and national sales arrangements involving the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Guardians, Colorado Rockies and Minnesota Twins.
The Clippers’ broadcasts are expected to be produced by the NBA’s in-house group as the league prepares its aggregated local broadcasting hub for 2027–28. The report describes Playfly’s Clippers deal as its first NBA partnership covering both local and national sales, with a one-season local arrangement that could continue beyond 2026–27.
