Robert Gasser will start for the Milwaukee Brewers opposite Blake Snell when the NLCS moves to Dodger Stadium for Game 3 on Wednesday, October 14. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. Mountain.
Milwaukee leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. The Brewers can move within one win of the World Series, while Los Angeles will try to reduce the deficit in the first of three potential games at home.
Gasser finished the regular season 5-5 with a 3.87 ERA. He allowed one run in four innings in his Division Series start against San Diego. Milwaukee chose him for Game 3 rather than repeating its Division Series rotation order, which had Dustin May pitching the third game.
Snell is now listed as the Dodgers’ starter in the updated MLB game guide. The left-hander went 4-1 with a 1.90 ERA during the regular season. He allowed one run in his Division Series start against Atlanta but walked five and lasted 3⅔ innings.
Both teams have Tuesday off before the series resumes. The starting pitchers are announced; the batting orders remain subject to the teams’ final lineup cards. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday, followed by Game 5 on Friday if needed.
