Team updates
Buffalo Bills
Allen scores five; Moore injury opens receiver snaps
DJ Moore · Shoulder, left gameJoshua Palmer · Speculative addJosh Allen · Five total TDs
What changed: Buffalo won 41–31 to move to 2–0. Allen threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 69 yards and two more. James Cook III had 101 rushing yards on 11 first-half carries and added a late 1-yard touchdown. Kincaid caught seven passes for 95 yards and a touchdown, Dawson Knox scored from a yard out, and Keon Coleman briefly left with an injury before returning.
Fantasy impact: Moore was hurt landing in the end zone on a play wiped out by a holding penalty, so he finished without an official target. Until there is a diagnosis, treat him as a hold, not a drop. Palmer has the clearest path to more snaps; Skyler Bell is listed behind Moore on the depth chart but did not play offense in Week 1. Khalil Shakir dropped a third-down pass and remains a PPR flex, not a must-start.
Depth/usage note: Moore stays in the formation with an injury flag while Buffalo’s long break plays out. Palmer’s note now reflects the Week 2 touchdown and his role after Moore’s exit.
Detroit Lions
St. Brown carries the passing game; patched line stalls Gibbs
Amon-Ra St. Brown · 13 targets, 2 TDsJared Goff · 327 yards, 4 TDsDetroit O-line · Two starters out
What changed: Detroit fell to 1–1. Goff threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns, and St. Brown caught nine of 13 targets for 142 yards and two scores. Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta each caught a touchdown. The Lions were without Mahogany (hip) and Miller (knee); Ben Bartch started at left guard, Larry Borom was the named replacement at right tackle, and Goff was sacked four times.
Fantasy impact: St. Brown’s target volume makes him an every-week WR1. Gibbs stays a must-start, but 66 team rushing yards shows the risk while the line is short-handed. Campbell does not expect Mahogany’s injury to be long term.
Depth/usage note: The line notes now show both starters were out Thursday and Juice Scruggs was cleared. Mahogany and Miller stay listed as starters because neither is expected to miss extended time.

Edition overview, reporting cutoff, status key and sources
Thursday Night Football is final: Bills 41, Lions 31. Josh Allen scored five touchdowns in the first game at the new Highmark Stadium, but DJ Moore’s shoulder injury is the result that matters most for fantasy rosters.
Reporting cutoff: September 18, 2026, 12:45 a.m. MDT / 2:45 a.m. ET. Official snap counts were not yet posted.
What changed
- DJ Moore hurt his left shoulder before halftime and did not return. He had X-rays, and Joe Brady had no update after the game.
- Joshua Palmer scored on a 43-yard touchdown, and Dalton Kincaid followed his Week 1 breakout with seven catches for 95 yards and a score.
- Detroit played without starting LG Christian Mahogany and RT Blake Miller and managed 66 rushing yards on 20 carries.
Fantasy impact
- Hold Moore until Buffalo gives a diagnosis; the Bills do not play again until September 27. Palmer is the speculative add if you need receiver depth.
- Kincaid is a weekly tight-end start. Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jared Goff remain locked in; watch Detroit’s line health before trusting the run game.
