Couturier, Foerster Game-Time Decisions as Flyers Injuries Mount
Neither forward practiced Sunday after Philadelphia’s first win. Owen Tippett also remains a question for Monday against Colorado.

Sean Couturier and Tyson Foerster will be game-time decisions when the Philadelphia Flyers host Colorado on Monday, coach Rick Tocchet said Sunday. Neither forward practiced a day after Philadelphia’s 3-1 victory over Ottawa.
Foerster was struck on his shooting hand by a shot during Saturday’s game but returned to play. Tocchet said the forward could not take the ice Sunday following his evaluation. Couturier was also hurt against the Senators; Tocchet did not identify a specific injury.
The uncertainty extends to Owen Tippett, who missed the Ottawa game with an upper-body injury and was absent from Sunday’s practice. Philadelphia is already without Travis Konecny and defensemen Cam York and Rasmus Ristolainen.
York and Ristolainen skated separately before practice, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The Flyers also recalled defenseman Hunter McDonald from Lehigh Valley and sent defenseman Helge Grans and forward Jack Studnicka to the American Hockey League club. Philadelphia earned its first victory of the season Saturday.
