The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade of receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday. The reports did not identify the acquiring team.
Harrison will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions while the deal is finalized, the reporters said. Arizona had reportedly sought a second-round draft pick and additional compensation, but final terms have not been announced.
Houston has held trade discussions concerning Harrison, according to the reports. That does not establish the Texans as the destination. ESPN reported that Indianapolis was not involved in the talks.
Arizona selected Harrison fourth overall in the 2024 draft after his college career at Ohio State. Through four games this season, he has five catches on 13 targets for 85 yards and one touchdown.
His career totals are 108 receptions, 1,578 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in 33 games. A completed trade, destination and return remain unconfirmed.
