Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes as the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Miami Dolphins 31-24 on Sunday, October 11, at Hard Rock Stadium. Cincinnati improved to 3-2, ending a two-game losing streak, while Miami fell to 0-5.

Burrow completed 23 of 32 passes for 190 yards. His touchdowns went to Mike Gesicki, Samaje Perine, Tanner Hudson and Ja’Marr Chase, according to the Bengals’ postgame report.

Dohnte Meyers’ 81-yard opening kickoff return gave Cincinnati an immediate scoring opportunity. Burrow found Gesicki for the first touchdown and threw two more before halftime. Safety Jordan Battle intercepted Malik Willis on consecutive Miami possessions in the second quarter, helping the Bengals reach the break ahead 21-7.

Chase finished with six catches for 77 yards. His touchdown late in the third quarter extended the lead to 28-10, but Miami worked its way back into the game.

Willis connected with rookie Kevin Coleman Jr. for a touchdown, and a two-point conversion reduced the deficit to 28-18. Cincinnati then recovered a Willis fumble and added Evan McPherson’s field goal, Field Level Media reported.

Willis scored on a one-yard run with 45 seconds remaining. Miami’s ensuing onside kick failed, allowing Cincinnati to close out the win.

The Bengals have a Week 6 bye before visiting Baltimore in Week 7.
