DAZN has outlined how fans will access local broadcasts for 19 U.S. teams on its platform, expanding its regional sports business after the collapse of Main Street Sports’ FanDuel Sports Network operations.

Executives described the plans at a New York event October 7, Sports Video Group reported. Fans can buy standalone team subscriptions without first purchasing DAZN’s main package.

The plans vary by team. Options include monthly subscriptions and season passes, with single-game purchases available for selected teams. DAZN also plans selected free games and some local over-the-air distribution.

The app includes dedicated team destinations with schedules and replays. Subscribers can watch full games or condensed versions, and replay spoilers are turned off by default.

The 19-team rollout is distinct from DAZN’s wider portfolio of more than 30 teams, which includes clients of the streaming technology company ViewLift.

Rights and exclusivity differ across markets. The announcement establishes a delivery approach rather than a uniform nationwide package or a single price that applies to every team.
