The Milwaukee Brewers named Robert Gasser to start Game 4 of the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday, October 7, at Petco Park. Milwaukee leads the best-of-five series 2–1 and can advance to the NL Championship Series with a win.

MLB’s official Game 4 record lists Gasser opposite Walker Buehler. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. Mountain Time, with U.S. coverage on FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX One.

Gasser, a left-hander, went 5–5 with a 3.87 ERA in 21 regular-season appearances, including 20 starts. He struck out 103 and walked 35 in 109⅓ innings, according to MLB’s season statistics.

San Diego forced Game 4 with a 4–3 victory Tuesday. Jake Cronenworth hit the go-ahead home run in the fifth inning, and Michael King closed the game with a two-inning save. A Padres win Wednesday would force a deciding Game 5.
