Daniel Espino will serve as Cleveland’s opener in ALDS Game 3 on Wednesday, October 7, with the Guardians needing a win at Rate Field to keep their season alive. The White Sox lead the series 2-0.

Cleveland used Espino as an opener three times in September. Manager Stephen Vogt has not named Wednesday’s next pitcher, saying the game would shape that decision, according to MLB.com’s report.

The Guardians produced three runs and seven hits in 61 at-bats across the first two games. José Ramírez was 0-for-6 with two walks. Steven Kwan leads off Wednesday, with Ramírez second and Chase DeLauter third, according to the announced lineup.

First pitch is 2 p.m. Mountain Time, or 4 p.m. Eastern. U.S. coverage is on TBS and truTV, with streaming on HBO Max and Spanish coverage on UniMas. Canadian viewers can watch through Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
