Flyers activate Denver Barkey, put Nikita Grebenkin on injured reserve
Philadelphia made the two forward moves Monday before visiting Tampa Bay. Grebenkin is on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.

The Philadelphia Flyers activated forward Denver Barkey from injured reserve Monday and placed forward Nikita Grebenkin on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
The moves came before Philadelphia’s visit to the Tampa Bay Lightning at Benchmark International Arena. The team’s announcement did not provide a return timetable for Grebenkin.
Barkey is expected to make his season debut against Tampa Bay, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday, citing coach Rick Tocchet’s plans to use him at wing and center.
Philadelphia entered the game at 0-1-2 and was seeking its first win. Monday’s scheduled start is 5 p.m. Mountain Time, with NBC Sports Philadelphia carrying the game in the Flyers’ market and NHL Network listing it nationally in the United States.
