Huska says Flames are disconnected after 6–1 loss to Kraken
Ryan Huska said players straying from Calgary’s game plan were creating problems for teammates after the loss in Seattle.

“I feel like right now we’re disconnected,” Calgary coach Ryan Huska said after the Flames’ 6–1 loss to Seattle on October 4.
Asked what stood out about the night, Huska said Calgary could start to build momentum only for a player to stray from the game plan and a puck to end up in its net.
When asked how to restore that connection, he said some new players were trying to do too much, creating problems for teammates who did not expect those decisions. He said players needed to settle down and commit to the game plan.
Asked about Dustin Wolf’s night, Huska pointed to flips over the top of Calgary’s players.
“We’re losing foot races in those situations, so we have to be better in front of him,” he said.
