Cooper Flagg left the Dallas Mavericks’ game against the Indiana Pacers with a left shoulder injury Friday and did not play in the second half, according to The Associated Press. Dallas won 121–105.

Flagg was injured when Indiana’s Aaron Nesmith fouled him on an apparent breakaway dunk. Nesmith was assessed a flagrant foul, and a brief shoving exchange resulted in double technical fouls.

Flagg finished with 14 points, five rebounds and six assists before his night ended. The AP report did not provide a diagnosis beyond the shoulder injury or a timetable for his return.

Correction: An earlier version listed 15 points for Flagg. The official NBA box score and scoring record give him 14.

Kyrie Irving led Dallas with 24 points, making five of his 10 attempts from 3-point range. P.J. Washington added 20 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.

The game marked Tyrese Haliburton’s first home appearance for Indiana since the 2025 NBA Finals.

Dallas is scheduled to host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. The Pacers next play at Brooklyn on Sunday.
