Rotations and Five-Player Matchups

The starting fives shared the game’s first 6:44, with Denver scoring 19 points to Oklahoma City’s 17. The Nuggets made eight of 14 field-goal attempts during that direct matchup; the Thunder were six of 14. Denver’s Gordon, Cameron Johnson, Jokić, Murray and Christian Braun group later returned briefly in the second quarter, finishing with a 19–18 margin over 7:16 together.

Denver’s first change put Jokić, Murray, DeRozan, Braun and Brazile together. That group scored 3–0 over 2:23 in the first quarter despite making one of eight shots, facing several Oklahoma City combinations. The same five’s full-game aggregate was 6–5 over 4:33, including a later fourth-quarter interval.

In the third quarter, Jokić, Murray, Alpha Diallo, Braun and Brazile shared 4:38 from 7:04 to 2:26. Oklahoma City outscored that group 7–4 while changing its own personnel. Caruso, Gilgeous-Alexander, Jaylin Williams, McCain and Mitchell then closed the period by scoring 6–2 over 1:50. That Thunder five scored 13–7 over 5:01 shared across the first and third quarters.

Oklahoma City’s Caruso, Isaiah Hartenstein, Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren and Jalen Williams combination scored 9–4 over 2:58 late in the fourth, from 4:41 to 1:43. Its three field goals, including Gilgeous-Alexander’s late three, helped move the score from 84–72 to 93–76 against Gordon, Jokić, Murray, DeRozan and Braun. Both teams then changed all five players with 1:43 remaining.

The Thunder’s original Hartenstein, Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren, Jalen Williams and Wallace five finished with 33 points against 34 over 15:16. Its intervals included different Denver opponents. The table preserves all 33 combinations, including the final reserve groups that played the last 1:43.

Actual five-player exposure follows the official NBA substitution order, cross-checked against ESPN’s player IDs and fractional-second clocks. The underlying intervals total 48:00 per team; displayed shared times are rounded. Denver’s two team heaves are separate from player field-goal attempts. These groups can face changing opponents; the figures describe this game and do not establish coaching intent.

NBA play-by-play displays the late first-quarter change as 0:09 and the late second-quarter changes as 0:05. The corresponding ESPN substitution records are 8.8 and 4.8 seconds. Cross-matched fractional intervals total 48:00 per team and 14,400 player-seconds. The table rounds shared time to the nearest second; the official player MIN values are retained exactly as published. Flooring the measured fractional exposure matches all 26 displayed player times. No film viewing or coaching-intent claim is made.
