Larkin Expands Trade List to 10 Teams, ESPN Reports
Seven additional clubs are on the list of destinations the Detroit center would accept, according to ESPN’s source.

Dylan Larkin has expanded the list of teams he would accept in a trade to 10, an NHL source confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday, October 20, as the Detroit Red Wings continue working on their former captain’s request to move.
The seven additions are the Carolina Hurricanes, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils, Tampa Bay Lightning, Utah Mammoth and Washington Capitals, ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski reported. The Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild and Vegas Golden Knights were on Larkin’s original three-team list.
Wyshynski credited the Detroit Free Press with first reporting the expanded list. ESPN’s source said Larkin was not seeking a trade to a Canadian team.
Larkin, 30, has a no-trade clause and is in the fourth season of an eight-year, $69.6 million contract with an $8.7 million annual salary-cap charge, according to ESPN.
At training camp in September, Larkin publicly acknowledged requesting a trade. He said he understood Detroit’s decision to begin the season without a captain after he made that request.
