Nebraska Leads NCAA Women’s Volleyball Committee’s In-Season Top 16
The unbeaten Huskers lead the committee’s October assessment.

Nebraska holds the top position in the NCAA Division I women’s volleyball committee’s in-season ranking of 16 teams, released Sunday.
The Huskers reached the ranking announcement unbeaten at 19–0 overall and 8–0 in the Big Ten after defeating Purdue in four sets Saturday. That victory was Nebraska’s eighth against a ranked opponent this season.
Nebraska’s latest performance included four players with double-digit kills, led by Teraya Sigler’s career-high 15. Harper Murray added 13, Virginia Adriano finished with 11 and Manaia Ogbechie had 10. Setter Bergen Reilly contributed 44 assists, 15 digs and five blocks.
The Huskers hit .303 against Purdue and held the Boilermakers to .133. Nebraska also recorded a season-high 64 digs while extending its regular-season home winning streak to 61 matches.
The committee’s October ranking provides an in-season assessment rather than a completed championship bracket. Nebraska returns to action at home against UCLA on October 22, continuing its Big Ten schedule after the unbeaten opening stretch.
