Victor Muñoz and Alexander Isak overturn Keane Lewis-Potter’s opener as Brentford finish with nine men.

Liverpool came from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, October 17, with Victor Muñoz and Alexander Isak scoring after halftime.
Keane Lewis-Potter headed the hosts in front in the 44th minute from Igor Thiago’s cross. Brentford then lost Yehor Yarmoliuk to a red card for violent conduct in first-half stoppage time following a video review, according to the club’s match report.
Muñoz equalized in the 62nd minute, cutting inside after a pass from Florian Wirtz and finishing low. Eight minutes later, Isak controlled Bradley Barcola’s knockdown and scored from close range to put Liverpool ahead.
Vitaly Janelt received a second yellow card in stoppage time, leaving Brentford with nine players. The result was Brentford’s first Premier League defeat of the season.
Liverpool’s league win followed their 6-3 Champions League victory at LASK. Brentford had drawn 2-2 with Aston Villa in their previous league match.
