Washington visits Purdue on Friday trying to win its first Big Ten game of the season. Both teams are 3-3 overall, but the Huskies are 0-3 in conference play while the Boilermakers are 2-1.

Kickoff in West Lafayette is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. in Calgary, with FOX carrying the game in the United States. Washington’s official game notes list Dan Hellie and Robert Smith as the television announcers.

It is Washington’s second consecutive Friday game and its first visit to Purdue in 36 seasons. The teams met in Seattle last year, when the Huskies won 49-13 in their first matchup as Big Ten opponents.

Washington leads the overall series 8-2-1, although that history includes long stretches without a meeting. The immediate concern is the conference table: another loss would deepen the Huskies’ winless start in Big Ten play. Washington has an open week after the Purdue trip before travelling to Nebraska on Halloween.
