The Sporting Page selected NBA/BAA seasons, excluded ABA records, checked and
combined each game's two participant rows, retained game dates and historical
club identities, classified regular and postseason games using the source flag,
and calculated regular-season records and points totals from those results.
Neutral-site listings are identified. Historical source IDs are not current
franchise IDs or an indication of continuity between unrelated clubs.

Historical final standings and groups are checked against the Official NBA Guide,
2013–14 edition, published by NBA Properties. Historical BAA seasons are identified
as BAA. Each season's JSON records its exact source and guide page.
